Last week was Kalei's final week of school. School has always been easy for him. He doesn't give me much feedback but he is always happy when it's time for school. I always get good reports about him. He loves his friends.
I remember it was very different with Gabe. He had such a hard time adjusting when he first started. He didn't want to let go of me no matter what. It was hard for me to see tears rolling down his cheeks...oh how tough it was to walk away from him. But he survived and did very well from that point on.
I don't really know how much Kalei gets about our moving to Florida and not going back to his school or seeing his friends again but he certainly had so much fun on his last days at school.
We have been treasuring every moment we get to spend with our friends. We are living fully these days. We are savoring the moments and mentally engraving them all in our memories. It's been fun but hard to imagine that our friends are not going to be just a short drive away.
Dani, it was so nice to have you guys visiting with us. The conversation could go on forever...I love that I can call you 'my friend'. We did not need much time to build our friendship. It grew strongly and easily. And I love it!

And last but not least...Girls - Kahoru, Sandra e Lucina - I have no words to thank you! You made me feel very special and only true friendship can make this happen! You girls treated me so beautifully. Thanks for the sweet card, for the dinner, and for the present! Oh...I did feel like a happy girl! I had a wonderful night. Not to be forgotten.
I am glad I have been able to manage to take few pictures. It will be very nice to have all these moments registered here to come back to when I miss you all!
