This camping trip was the second time for the Crozats. The first time was with Gabe's 3rd grade class with the same teacher, Mrs. Tweed.
This time was with Kalei's 2nd grade class. Kalei was beyond himself! He counted the days for this event.
Kalei jumped out of the car as soon as we parked and never stopped. He has a wonderful way to make the best out of life.
They played marbles, they went to a few exploration walks, they played bow and arrow, had smore's and were very happy!
There is nothing more rewarding than watching your kids just being happy.
Kalei with Gabriel and Vance.
These caterpillars were everywhere. Thank goodness I went back home to sleep in the comfort of my own bed. The three boys slept over in the tent. I joined them next morning for breakfast.
It's so amazing what just one day/night away from the city, noise, electronics can do to our souls. It's such a nice way to refresh from the demands of life.
As usual I brought home a very dirty but happy boy. I had to scrub him so hard and was not able to get all the dirt off his skin!
Now, baskets of laundry await for me.
