Colonial Williamsburg

We decided to go in the spur of a moment. A little escape to the 18th Century. (maybe seasonal allergies were not an issue back then!) We left Friday morning and came back Saturday night. We visited the historic area in Williamsburg. We did not have enough time to see Jamestown or Yorktown. It was a short but nice little trip!

The nicest tree trunk I've ever seen!

The garden of the Governor's Palace - home to seven royal governors including Thomas Jefferson - It was beautiful!
