We are still on summer vacation yet we long for the weekend.
Ruffin joins us on those days. And when we are all together it seems that time awaits for all the moments to be savored.. No rush. Or to be completely honest, we just rush to have fun. We are eager to use every minute of the weekend to enjoy ourselves.
Friday night we left home for a nice walk at Marina Jack. It was absolutely gorgeous.
Ruffin and I are truly kids these days. We can't get enough of life. We just love it here! love it. But the kids love this corner...

Saturday was a beach day around here. We tried a new slice of sand - Turtle beach.
Very different sand than Siesta Key yet just an extension of the same beach. Amazing.

Sunday we relaxed at home most of the day. We put a bookshelf together and just left for a nice mexican dinner treat.
Then we did our favorite thing - strolled through the little Siesta downtown street. Listened to the live music at each restaurant as we walked. Stopped only to treat ourselves with the best ice-cream in town.
It was a nice weekend.
