1 mile run for kids...

...at Siesta key beach every Tuesday during summer. The first time Ruffin and Gabe joined the crowd it was in a spur of a moment decision. We just happened to be at the beach at the right time. They jogged with barefeet.

They enjoyed it so much we made plans to go back for the next one wearing tennis shoes this time. They ran and I stayed with Kalei to cheer for them when they were about to cross the finish line.

Gabe had soccer camp in the morning, swimming lessons in the afternoon and ran 1 mile! When we got home they were still full of energy! I must be feeding them well. :-)  If I could bottle up some of this energy...

While they played and played we looked for shells. It's one of my favorite hobbies lately.

And it was time to go. It will be a late night. Time never seemed to go so fast like here and we don't seem to want to control it. It's a good feeling. We don't go by the clock. We are driven by the moments. That's the summer I always wanted to have with the kids. It's priceless!
