Thanksgiving 2013

It was very mellow. Just four of us. It was good. I love just the four of us.

Our extended family is in Brazil and California. So Thanksgiving is usually only us.

We have been in Sarasota for almost three years now.  We went to Naples in 2011 and last year we hosted a Thanksgiving at our house with Priscila and her family.

We had plans to go to Golden Corral, the kids love it, but it was so packed that we ended up eating at Boston Market. Not bad. It was actually ok.

Then we stopped to play soccer to make Gabe happy ;-) since he was really disappointed we didn't eat at Golden Corral. It felt nice. The weather has been cool, which is always a treat for us living in Florida. So it was very fun to be out there.

We were at the GT Bray Park in Bradenton. Many of the soccer tournaments took place here last season.

Then we drove to Burns Court in Downtown for a walk. Mom bear wanted to snap some pictures.

We closed the day with our Christmas tree. We sipped coffee and ate apple pie with vanilla ice-cream while we decorated our home. It's looking a lot like Christmas.

I am so grateful for my family, friends, and for God being more and more part of our lives. I could not ask for anything better. I have all and more than I ever dreamed.
